A community support organization in Beith is seeking a part-time support worker for a young man with Autism. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, requiring a caring attitude and a full UK driving licence. No prior experience is necessary, as training will be provided, along with support for obtaining relevant qualifications. The shifts include sleepovers with a commitment to providing quality care in a supportive environment.

The main purpose of your role will be to support a young man with Autism in his own home with all aspects of daily living, e.g., shopping, finances, cooking, housework and personal care. We are ideally looking for a driver for this position as the young man is out each day. He enjoys going to play golf and has been enjoying other activities such as the arcade and going out longer walks as well as going to parks within his local community.
You don\'t need experience to join our team; we recruit on values and transferable skills. We\'ll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you\'ll need. We\'ll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees!
The service runs as a sleepover; you will start your shift at 10am and finish at 2pm the next day (Monday - Friday) and 10am to 10am the next day (Saturday and Sunday). The team is experienced and will support you as you settle in.

If you are successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting and to meet the requirements of the person we support\'s insurance policy for the use of their mobility car.
