Job summary

A successful B2C organization in Gloucestershire is seeking a Systems Developer to enhance Supply Chain operations. The role requires strong SQL Server skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA. You will collaborate with various teams to implement system enhancements. Experience with Power BI and knowledge of retail or supply chain are bonuses. This position is onsite 5 times a week, offering a salary of up to £45,000.

Systems Developer

Gloucestershire - 5x per week onsite

This organisation is a highly successful, multi‑faceted organisation, with a large opportunity for you to get involved in a diverse range of projects.

As the Systems Developer, you will support and enhance the performance of Supply Chain operations by leveraging SQL knowledge, integration techniques, and data‑mapping skills. You will work closely with Supply Chain, IT, and commercial teams, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to implement system enhancements.

We are looking for:

• Strong working knowledge of SQL Server, including writing queries with CTEs and window functions, and managing data pipelines (SSIS)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA
• A creative problem solver with strong deductive reasoning skills

It would be a bonus if you had:

• Experience with Power BI
• Experience in retail or supply chain
