Supply Chain Analyst – Global Fulfilment | Bishop's Stortford Area

I’m recruiting for a well-established brand with four fulfilment centres across the globe. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and fast-paced environment where your attention to detail and commercial acumen will directly impact global operations.

Role Overview:

As the new Supply Chain Analyst, you’ll play a key role in organising, tracking, and reporting the movement of products worldwide. You’ll be the link between suppliers, forwarders, warehouses, and internal teams, ensuring smooth and efficient supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor global supply and demand, taking action based on forecasting
  • Create and manage Purchase Orders, updating systems and suppliers
  • Place, track, and update global Distributor orders
  • Maintain accurate system data: ETD/ETA dates, shipper details, container numbers, product changes
  • Liaise with freight forwarders for quotes, bookings, and delivery scheduling
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding issues, changes, and forecasts
  • Coordinate container arrivals with warehouse teams
  • Manage stock movements between global locations (main products & spare parts)
  • Provide shipping updates to Sales & Customer Service teams
  • Resolve stock-out queries and make transport decisions
  • Support supplier audits and maintain control documentation
  • Administer commercial documents and liaise with relevant parties
  • Own and maintain in-house ‘Live’ management tools
  • Report weekly on all supply chain activity
