About The Role

Role Summary: As a Supervisor / Machine Driver, you’ll lead day-to-day site operations while operating plant machinery to keep production running safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role where you’ll manage staff deployment, monitor H&S compliance, and ensure materials are processed, loaded, and recorded correctly.

Key Accountabilities
  • Supervise daily operations, allocating staff and setting clear objectives.
  • Operate mobile plant (Forklift, Loading Shovel, 360° Excavator) safely and efficiently.
  • Complete daily machine checks, report defects, and carry out routine maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure correct PPE use and compliance with all health & safety systems.
  • Load/unload vehicles, rotate waste, and maintain good site housekeeping.
  • Liaise with departments and escalate issues to the Regional Manager.
  • Book outgoing loads, keep material levels to a minimum, and complete all paperwork accurately.
  • Manage the site email account and respond promptly to queries.
