York, UK – York Summer School (Full time, fixed‑term)

Are you looking to advance your career while gaining experience in a culturally diverse environment and working with students from across the globe? Are you ready to take ownership of a summer camp’s activities and events programme, and develop your management skills? If so, challenge yourself this summer with EF Education First!

Your Role as the Activities & Events Coordinator

EF York is searching for an energetic and organised individual to join our team as Activities & Events Coordinator this summer. This role spans 8‑10 weeks during June, July & August, and offers a unique opportunity to develop managerial skills within an international company.

Your responsibilities as an Activities & Events Coordinator
  • Work with the summer management team to deliver an exceptional experience and support the activity programme.
  • Plan and deliver activities ranging from interactive games for small groups to large events for over 600 students.
  • Support a team of local and international leaders, ensuring activities reflect local culture, are safe, and are unforgettable.
  • Collaborate with local suppliers, motivate and shape a team of leaders to create a summer of a lifetime for every student. Tasks will vary from scheduling and administrative work to energising the crowd at events.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership skills with some experience in management or team leading.
  • Commitment to the highest level of customer service.
  • Sociable, fun disposition with the ability to motivate and energise others.
  • Financial and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure.
