Salary £25,905 - £31,611 dependent on experience.

The Alcohol & Drug Service (ADS) is a registered charity that has been transforming the lives of people affected by drugs and alcohol misuse for over 40 years.

Aspire is a partnership between ADS and Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH). It combines NHS strengths with the voluntary sector, providing flexible, responsive services that aim for the best outcomes for service users and the community.

Role Overview

The Groupwork team delivers structured, evidence-based group and 1:1 work with service users across various settings, including face-to-face and virtual groups. The programme is based on recognised models of change and recovery, engaging with the wider community to develop recovery and care. An accredited mentor programme is also available for volunteers.

Candidate Requirements
  • Relevant experience in the substance misuse field
  • A relevant degree (e.g., psychology, sociology, social work) or Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Level 3 in Tackling Substance Misuse or equivalent
  • Experience in delivering groupwork is desirable
