Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Student Bursary Officer to join our Student Experience & Wellbeing team reporting to our Student Experience & Wellbeing Manager (Financial Support). Our friendly and hardworking team work together to provide an exceptional student experience that allows all our students to realise their potential.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and contact students who may be eligible for funds and support the application process to ensure that no student experiences financial hardship which could result in low attendance or withdrawal.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial assessments, awards and payments associated with Learner support funds and ensure they are ready for audit purposes.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Willingness to help others.
  • Excellent IT and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work to high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience of dispersal of learner support funds is desirable, but full training and support can be provided for the right candidate.

Schedule

37 Hours per week; Monday- Friday (start and finish times can be discussed).
