Structural Design Engineer - Heritage and Conservation Projects • Permanent • Central London • £38,000 - £48,000 + annual bonus (10%) + benefits

Responsibilities

• Join a well-established Heritage team and contribute to the design of heritage conservation projects across existing and new build work, including refurbishment, conservation, and adaptive reuse.
• Apply a strong theoretical and practical understanding of all structural materials on a variety of projects in the heritage sector.
• Collaborate with team members and external consultants on projects with values up to £50 million across London and the South East.
• Engage in a full training programme provided by the practice to support chartership and CARE accreditation.
• Maintain a demonstrable passion for the heritage sector and contribute to a collaborative, high-quality design environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years Structural Consultancy experience.
• Solid design skills and experience in structural engineering for heritage projects (refurbishment, conservation, and adaptive reuse).
• Strong grounding in materials across a range of existing and new build projects.
• A genuine interest in pursuing chartership (via the provided training) and CARE accreditation.
