Overview

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we have an exciting role, with multiple positions, on offer to join a leading construction engineering firm as a Senior/Principal Structural Engineer, on a contract basis, outside IR35. The successful candidate will be required to work on a hybrid basis, 3 days a week, from our client's Manchester office. Within this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including working on a project centred around a nuclear fuel facility.

  • Competitive hourly rate ranging from £50-£60 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
  • Design and analyse structural systems that meet regulations, using appropriate materials and CAD software for simulations.
  • Monitor project progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure contractor work meets structural standards.
  • Construct reports, drawings, and calculations using software such as Tekla, ETABS, or Revit.
  • Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and other professionals, and provide technical advice throughout the project.
  • Manage planning applications and ensure compliance with building regulations.
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master\'s preferred), with proven experience working on projects linked to this field.
  • Senior applicants must have, or be eligible for, security clearance.
  • Strong communications skills for client facing environments.
  • Chartered or working towards chartered status with ICE or IStructE.
  • Proficient in structural analysis and design software, such as Revit, Robot, Tekla, and STAAD
