Overview

This is a rare opportunity for a derivatives lawyer with equity derivatives experience who is keen to take on responsibility and really help build something.

Our client is a highly successful global business headquartered in Central London. A vacancy has arisen for a lawyer with strategic equities experience to join the growing derivatives & structured products team.

You will be working on structuring, documentation and the execution of complex transactions including derivatives, stock loans, margin loans and ECM strategies. Your role will be varied and will give you the opportunity to work on OTC fixed income, credit and equity based derivatives, asset backed securities, repackaging programmes, collateral documentation and structures, repos, stock loans, credit and equity-linked notes, synthetic securitisations and insurance linked securities.

Responsibilities
  • You will be involved in structuring, documentation and execution of complex transactions across derivatives, stock loans, margin loans and ECM strategies, including OTC fixed income, credit and equity derivatives, asset backed securities, repackaging programmes, collateral documentation and structures, repos, and related instruments.
Qualifications
  • Mid-level lawyer with a solid grounding in derivatives and/structured products, including some prior exposure to strategic equities.
  • You may have trained in-house or in private practice, and candidates with relevant experience gained in other key financial centres will also be seriously considered.
