Job summary

A recruitment partnership is seeking an experienced Asbestos and Health and Safety Manager for the London Borough of Harrow. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership on asbestos management and ensure compliance across the housing stock. Responsibilities include managing the Asbestos Management Plan and providing advice on asbestos regulations. This role is temporary for 6 months with potential for extension and offers a hybrid working pattern.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in asbestos management and health and safety compliance.
• Technical leadership skills in a regulatory environment.
• Familiarity with Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.

Responsibilities

• Act as the competent person under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
• Provide technical advice and support on asbestos matters.
• Develop, maintain, and implement the Council's Asbestos Management Plan.
