Job summary

Overview

You will be the first smiling face our customers see, providing outstanding service and assistance to find bargains. You will help maintain our store standards and deliver a welcoming atmosphere and a prompt, enjoyable shopping experience, making you an indispensable part of the Home Bargains community.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service with enthusiasm, assist with product queries, and create a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
  • Support fellow team members in delivering excellence across the board, including putting out stock, ensuring products are available and presentable, and maintaining cleanliness and tidiness throughout the store.
  • Operate in multiple roles as needed, including tills and cash handling, stocking and rotating shelves, and supporting different areas such as the Café, Bakery, or garden centres.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of customer service.
  • Experience of cash handling and working in a retail environment.
  • Experience of manual handling and stock replenishment.
  • Hardworking and reliable; polite and professional.

Salary & Benefits
  • £12.21 per hour (18-20), £12.50 per hour (21+).
  • 16 hours per week.
