ROLE - Stock Controller
TERM - Permanent
LOCATION - Berkshire
SALARY - £30,000 - £36,000, dependent on experience

Responsibilities
  • Travelling around the UK to visit customer sites and carry out inventory
  • Managing your own time, organising customer visits and planning routes
  • Monitoring, recording and maintaining stock levels to ensure accurate availability
  • Carrying out regular stock checks and reconciling discrepancies
  • Raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers regarding deliveries
  • Ensuring stock is stored safely and efficiently in the warehouse
  • Working closely with production and purchasing teams to ensure smooth workflow
  • Updating the ERP/MRP system accurately and in a timely manner
  • Preparing reports on stock usage and availability for management review
  • Supporting continuous improvement in stock control processes
Qualifications / Attributes
  • Previous experience in a Stock Controller / Inventory Management role
  • Happy to travel around the UK for customer visits
  • Able to plan your own routes and schedule to maximise efficiency
  • Proficiency using stock control systems / ERP / MRP software
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Confident using MS Office (Excel essential)
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a small team
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Own your own vehicle and be willing to travel as required
