Overview

Stock Administrator – Hams Hall (Coleshill, UK)

Sector: Admin & Secretarial / Logistics Administration

Employment Type: Temporary, Full-Time

Working Hours: Rotating Shifts (06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00)

Salary: £12.87 per hour (approx. £450.45 per week)

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated Stock Administrator to join our growing team at Hams Hall. This is a fast-paced and varied role that plays a key part in supporting efficient warehouse operations. You’ll be responsible for managing stock accuracy, processing orders, and maintaining high standards of data integrity across all systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately receipt and record all inbound stock and deliveries
  • Process, prioritise, and dispatch customer orders efficiently
  • Monitor and manage internal stock transfers and movements
  • Maintain accurate records for returned and damaged goods
  • Investigate and reconcile stock discrepancies and picking errors
  • Conduct daily stock and system checks to ensure data accuracy
  • Prepare stock consolidations to optimise warehouse space
  • Ensure clear communication during shift handovers
  • Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and transport teams
  • Obtain and file proofs of delivery (PODs) and manage stock returns
  • Resolve outstanding issues and queries in a timely manner
Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous experience as a Stock Administrator, Warehouse Administrator, or similar role (preferred)
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems such as Swisslog, SAP LES, ESP/GTS, or Red Prairie (advantageous)
  • Strong IT literacy, with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn new systems quickly
  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
  • Basic financial awareness and attention to numerical detail
  • Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns
