Overview

Permanent job opportunities for Steel Erectors / Fabricators / Fitters with a busy, fast growing construction metalwork company. Roles are based mainly at Stansted Airport with excellent extra hours available and bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install metal frameworks for building structures.
• Read and interpret construction plans to determine necessary materials and installation processes.
• Safely use tools and machinery for cutting, shaping, and joining metal components. Welding experience will be a bonus.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure structural integrity and adherence to specifications.
• Comply with health and safety regulations on-site at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Steel Erector or in a similar role focusing on construction metal framework.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of metalworking tools and machines.
