Overview

City: London, The Portland Hospital for Women & Children (The Portland Hospital).

Hours: Full time; 37.5 hours per week. Shift times: Monday – Sunday (flexibility to work long days, nights and weekends).

Contract: Permanent. Salary: competitive (DOE) plus 9% shift allowance.

Responsibilities

As a Staff Nurse in the Gynaecology Inpatient ward you will:

  • Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of nursing care.
  • Work within a team, supervising and directing junior staff and deputising for Senior Staff Nurse or Sister in their absence.
  • Be willing to provide care to women undergoing surgical or medical termination of pregnancy, including direct involvement with induction of the procedure.

  • Registered Nurse Level 1

  • Experience in Gynae/Surgical
  • Course/experience relevant to specialist area
