If you are looking for a new challenge, come and join our growing team providing quality care for patients across the whole endoscopy pathway including pre, peri and post endoscopic procedural care.

Endoscopy is a constantly evolving area delivering a wide range of upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy, bronchoscopy and thoracoscopy and is the centre for the Dorset Bowel Cancer Screening Programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient centred care within the endoscopy pathway
• Work collaboratively with Clinical Endoscopists, Gastroenterology Consultants, Colorectal/Upper Surgical Consultants, senior doctors and a large nursing and HCSW team
• Be flexible to work a range of shifts, 0730 – 1830 hours, including Saturdays, and participate in a 24‑hour on‑call service when competent
• Perform frequent cross‑site working across Poole and Wimborne Hospital sites, and Bournemouth site
• Demonstrate commitment to personal development and competency assessment

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 12 months experience in an acute setting
• Previous endoscopy experience advantageous but not essential; training and competency assessment provided
• Hardworking, motivated team player with excellent communication skills and flexible attitude

Working Hours & Shift Pattern

Shifts run from 0730 – 1830, including Saturdays. The post holder may be required to take part in a 24‑hour on‑call service when competent.

Location & Mobility

Base Location: Poole. The role requires frequent cross‑site working across Poole and Wimborne Hospital sites, and Bournemouth site. Relocated employees will not be eligible for excess mileage reimbursement.
