Job description

To provide high quality nursing care to patients as part of a cohesive Multi‑Disciplinary Team. The post holder will undertake duties involving delivery of nursing services and holistic assessments of patients' health needs using a person‑centred approach. In addition, the post holder will be involved in health promotion and innovative activities that enhance patient service delivery and the patient experience.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join our very friendly team working in our 13‑bedded coronary care unit, with the opportunity to rotate to our cardiology day unit which supports patients undergoing coronary angiography and pacing procedures.

We are seeking nurses with a strong clinical background who are enthusiastic to develop their clinical skills and make a real positive impact on the experiences of our patients. You will enjoy working in a busy environment and be a true team player. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. A period of post‑registration experience in an acute setting is required but we will provide you with access to post registration education to support your cardiology career. We provide in‑house training and have cardiology specific competencies to help our staff demonstrate their professional progression.
