Job description

Ardingly College is seeking to appoint Sports Graduate(s) to work across our main sports of Netball, Hockey, Cricket, Football and Swimming. This role will support the Sports department from September 2026 for a fixed term period until August 2027 and involve coaching sport and promoting the general progress and well-being of individual pupils.

The successful candidate should have a high level of experience in playing and coaching any of the College’s key sports: Netball, Hockey, Cricket, Football and Swimming. They will be required to take part in the sports programme throughout the week in both Senior and Prep Schools, supporting the Heads of Sport with organising and preparing for fixtures on Fridays, alongside attending Saturday fixtures.

Contract

This role is offered on a fixed term contract from September 2026 until 31st August 2027.

Hours of Work

40 hours per week, for 35 weeks per year (during term-time only, plus one additional week to assist with pre-season training). The actual times of work are subject to flexibility and will be agreed directly with the Director of Sport.

Rate of Pay

£20,210 per annum inclusive of paid holiday
