Turn Your Passion for Sport into a Rewarding Career in Education with Monarch Education

Are you a passionate and energetic Sports Coach looking for a new challenge and a meaningful career path? Monarch Education is recruiting committed individuals to work full-time across a range of secondary schools in Bristol, supporting students through sport, physical activity, and classroom engagement.

Whether your background is in football, rugby, basketball, athletics, martial arts, dance, swimming, or multi-sports, your skills can make a lasting impact-especially for students who need extra support to thrive. When not delivering sports sessions, you'll also assist in classroom-based lessons across the school, gaining valuable experience in a broader educational setting.

Role Details:
  • Full-time position across multiple secondary schools
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Opportunities to work with students of all abilities, including those with SEND
  • Immediate and ongoing placements available which are long term.

Why This Role Matters: Your expertise in physical education can help students build confidence, resilience, communication skills, and a sense of achievement. You'll be creating a safe and engaging environment where students can explore their abilities, develop trust, and grow socially and emotionally.

Some students may be non-verbal or have complex needs, so we're looking for individuals who are patient, creative, and compassionate. You'll be part of a supportive school team that values inclusion, wellbeing, and personal development.

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience coaching or teaching in any sport or physical activity
  • A genuine passion for working with young people, especially those with additional needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
  • A desire to make a meaningful difference in students' lives
What We Offer:
