The Cornwall Children's Community Speech and Language Therapy service invites a Speech and Language Therapist to join our Central Cornwall Team to cover maternity leave. The role will be two days within our Truro team, and two days in our St Austell team.

This post is suitable for a newly qualified therapist and we are happy to take applications from therapists in the final stages of finishing their degree.

You will hold a 0‑18‑year old mixed community caseload and offer support to children and their families through clinic appointments, setting visits and home visits in the Central Cornwall area. The service offers both assessment and intervention, in addition to consultation and training.

Main duties of the job

This job is currently only open to people who already work for the NHS in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly. We are committed to supporting our dedicated staff, so only current employees of the following organisations can apply:

  • Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board

Qualifications and experience
  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent qualification).
