Work Location: Hampshire, Countywide (specifically Hart & Rushmoor, East Hampshire and Havant)

Contract Type: Permanent (Term-Time only)

The Role:

As a Speech and Language Therapist within our Education and Inclusion Therapy Service, you’ll be part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality therapy support to children and young people in educational settings. You'll work closely with schools, families, and other professionals to ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.

This role offers the chance to work across a diverse caseload, applying your clinical expertise in a range of settings and contributing to service development initiatives.

What you’ll do:
  • Provide speech and language therapy assessments and interventions for children and young people
  • Collaborate with education staff, families, and other professionals to develop and implement effective support plans
  • Contribute to training and capacity-building within schools and settings
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with professional standards
  • Participate in service development and quality improvement activities
  • Support whole-school communication strategies and contribute to policy development

What we’re looking for:
  • A qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC
  • A strong passion for working with children with additional needs within an educational context
  • Experience working with children and young people in educational or community settings and working with children with a range of SEN needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • A flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving and service delivery
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
  • Competent in using IT systems and software for clinical documentation, reporting, and service management
  • Be part of a well-established and respected Therapy Service within a high-performing local authority
