Job description

Applications are invited for a full time Specialty Doctor post to work within the busy Dermatology Team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting time for the service as it continues to expand and applications are welcomed from enthusiastic clinicians.

The post holder will be managerially accountable to the Clinical Director/General Manager and professionally accountable to the 2 Dermatology Consultants and the Clinical lead for the Specialty. The post is based at St Luke's Hospital where the Dermatology service is provided; however, some duties may be required at the Bradford Royal Infirmary site. The post holder will be an active participant in clinical governance activity, audit and multidisciplinary management meetings.

Responsibilities

• Provide a Dermatology service of the highest quality, including programmed activities for:
• Cancer clinics
• General Dermatology clinics
• Specialist Dermatology Clinics
• Dermatological Surgery
• Develop the Dermatology services
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinical meetings (MDT)
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of clinical protocols
