What you'll do

The successful applicant will join a team in a stunning boutique hotel and assist the head chef in running the kitchen in this high-quality hotel. The role includes working in a professional setup, supporting the head chef, and contributing to the delivery of a fine dining restaurant, room service, events and weddings.

Responsibilities
  • Work in a stunning boutique hotel environment with a focus on high standards
  • Assist the head chef in daily kitchen operations and service
  • Support a busy kitchen across a fine dining restaurant, room service, events and weddings
  • Ensure stock control, costings and menu planning are aligned with kitchen targets
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of allergen, H&S and HACCP procedures and regulations
  • Lead or support service teams to maintain high standards and smooth communication during service
Ideal candidate
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for craft
  • Experience with a modern British menu
  • Experience in a fast-paced, fresh food-led kitchen
  • Experience in a similar independent casual dining venue
  • Experience running service to high standards and coordinating with the team
  • Knowledge of stock control, costings and menu planning
  • Understanding of allergen, H&S and HACCP requirements
  • A desire to learn from a well-respected head chef
