Job summary

A leading IT consultancy in the UK is seeking a Solution Architect (Cloud Connectivity) to document applications for cloud connectivity and define service processes. Active MoD security clearance is required. Suitable candidates should have expertise in Azure, AWS, or Oracle. This role is hybrid, with a daily rate of £595 via umbrella, starting from 3rd November 2025 until 31st March 2026.

Qualifications

• Active MoD security clearance.
• Skilled in at least two of the following Cloud Services: Azure, AWS, Oracle.
• Preferably some MODCloud knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Document the 'as is' and 'to be' for applications in scope for BMFS cloud connectivity.
• Work with stakeholders to define the service wrap process.
• Contribute to daily stand-ups for the Cloud Connectivity project.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure cloud connectivity alignment.

Overview

Role Title: Solution Architect (Cloud Connectivity)

Contract details: Start Date 3rd November 2025; End Date 31st March 2026; Location: Corsham (Hybrid); Rate: £595p/d via Umbrella.

The successful candidate will hold active MoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Document the 'as is' and 'to be' for the applications in scope for BMFS cloud connectivity, including ports, protocols, routers, source destinations, etc.
• Work with project stakeholders to define the service wrap process, involving joint discussions with the lead Solution Architect to help review designs and processes.
• Contribute to daily stand-ups specifically scheduled for the Cloud Connectivity project.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment of cloud connectivity approaches with project objectives and constraints.
