Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' electrical industry experience.
• Recognised solar PV qualifications.
• BPEC or equivalent (e.g. MCS, BESS, Napit).
• NVQ Level 3 technical qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (City & Guilds BS7671 Level 3).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults while maintaining safety standards.
• Design and install indoor/outdoor electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Conduct inspection and testing of systems, including fuses, transformers, and circuit breakers.
• Ensure all installations comply with electrical safety standards and building regulations.
• Support and mentor an apprentice electrician four days per week.
• Liaise with subcontractors and customers to coordinate site activity.
