Job summary

A leading energy firm is seeking an experienced Solar Project Manager to lead the construction of multi-MW sites across the South West of England. You will be responsible for managing all phases from development to execution, coordinating between project managers, engineers, and subcontractors. Candidates must have in-depth knowledge of solar projects, excellent project management skills, and a CSCS Supervision card. This role requires travel to various sites, ensuring effective oversight of construction activities.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Solar and/or Battery construction or design.
• Expertise in construction project management.
• Understanding of construction contracts and obligations.

Responsibilities

Job description

My Client is resourcing for an Experienced Solar Project Manager to join and become a key component of there construction team. You will lead phase from development, through EPC stage until project execution. You will effectively manage the construction of multi-MW sites by handling the interface between my clients project managers, engineers and procurement people, and the numerous construction subcontractors on site.

Skills and Experience

• In depth knowledge of Solar and / or Battery construction and / or design
• Construction project management or design project management expertise
• Understanding of construction contracts and contractual obligations
• Key stakeholder management
• Strong understanding of risk management
• Strong understanding of HSE
• Strong time management skills
• A CSCS Supervision card is required

The sites are situated throughout the South West of England, and the role will require travelling to and from various sites.
