Qualifications

• Experience of object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Experience of SQL.
• Experience of RESTful API design.
• Experience using version control (ideally Git).
• Experience working in an Agile methodology.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and related tooling.
• Experience of test automation tooling (such as JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium).
• Experience with Jira or a similar work tracking tool.

Who are we looking for?

Someone who can provide technical implementation of various systems which reside in the BSS/OSS space. Build responsibility and understanding of technical requirements such as capacity, security, maintainability, and other non-functional aspects.

What will you be doing day-to-day?

• Collaborating on technical design and architectural decisions for new and existing systems
• Writing clean, efficient, and scalable Java code
• Conducting and participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge
• Creating and maintaining automated tests to ensure functionality and reduce regressions
• Working with CI/CD pipelines to build, test, and deploy software quickly and reliably
• Taking part in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
• Implementing and integrating with a variety of internal and third-party systems as required
