Contract Mechanical Fitter – Until at least Christmas – Market Leading Manufacturer

Location: Commutable from Tamworth, Lichfield, Burton-on-Trent, Cannock, and surrounding areas
Duration: Contract until at least Christmas, with potential extension

What you’ll be doing as a Mechanical Fitter

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Working to precision tolerances in a hands-on role
• Machining CNC milling/lathe work on medium-to-large components
• Organising workflow to meet deadlines
• Supporting fabrication, fitting, and welding tasks (experience in these areas advantageous)

• Appropriate qualifications/experience in mechanical fitting
• Skilled in CNC machining (milling & turning)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
