Responsibilities

• Maintain, design and enhance live pricing code within our Alternative Pricing Department.
• Ensuring the code, which runs thousands of times a day to provide live quotes, performs accurately.
• Manage multiple deployments per month, developing tools and reports to verify business impact.
• Follow senior management guidance during initial deployment phases and then work autonomously with a high degree of independence.
• Handle quick turnaround times within short deployment windows and maintain high quality through meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Confident coder with strong Python skills; experience with GitHub is ideal but can be taught on the job.
• Great attention to detail and prior experience in a software development role.
• Ability to work autonomously and with little supervision.
• Pre‑existing knowledge of the UK Motor Insurance industry is ideal but not required.
