Sociology / Criminology Graduate – Behaviour & Pastoral Support

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Daily Rate: £90–£110

Protocol Education is working with a Newcastle secondary school to recruit a Sociology or Criminology Graduate to support behaviour and pastoral interventions.

This role is ideal for graduates interested in youth justice, social work, education or pastoral leadership. The school has a strong pastoral structure and supports relationship‑based approaches.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with behavioural and social challenges
  • Working with pastoral and safeguarding teams
  • Supporting positive behaviour strategies and routines
  • Acting as a positive role model for students

Suitable candidates will:

  • Hold a degree in Sociology, Criminology or a related field
  • Be calm, confident and resilient
  • Have a strong interest in youth and community work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
