Overview

Join our dynamic team in Grimsby as a Qualified Social Worker within the MASH Team, earning £35 hourly on a locum basis for an exciting 3 months. This full-time position is based in-office 5 days a week and offers a chance to be at the front line of safeguarding children as it is part of our Initial Point of Contact (IPC) within the Integrated Front Door (IFD). The role is crucial in the early stages of a child’s journey with social care, providing a rewarding opportunity for those who thrive on making a difference.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact, responding to calls from the public and professionals concerning children who are not currently under Children’s Social Care or Family Help
• Utilise a strength-based approach to gather high-quality, clear, and concise information about children from the first contact
• Input data efficiently into Liquidlogic and distinguish between requests that require Family Help and those with safeguarding concerns
• Conduct multi-agency checks, analyze information and create a support plan tailored to each child’s needs
• Collaborate closely with Social Workers and Practice Supervisors to ensure safeguarding concerns are appropriately addressed and reviewed
