Herefordshire is calling for someone like you to join our Fostering & Assessment Team for an exciting 3-month locum role, working 37 hours a week, that promises both professional fulfilment and a better life for children and families in Herefordshire.

What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and support foster carers through training and supervision.
• Work collaboratively with a team of social workers to promote the wellbeing of children in foster care.
• Mediate and build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure foster carers are fully supported.
• Uphold the Fostering National Minimum Standards by contributing to a culture of excellence and safeguarding.

You must be a fully qualified Social Worker (DipSW, CQSW, CSS, or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in statutory social care.
