Job summary

A regional council is seeking an experienced Children's Social Worker to join their Children's Services team. In this role, you will carry out assessments and interventions to safeguard children and adolescents, manage a caseload in line with statutory requirements, and collaborate with families and professionals. Candidates must hold a recognised Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in the community, with a pay rate of up to £36.00 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification.
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Previous experience within Children's Services.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out assessments, planning, and interventions to safeguard children.
  • Manage a caseload in line with statutory requirements.
  • Work closely with families and multi-agency professionals.
  • Complete high-quality reports and maintain accurate case records.
  • Attend meetings, reviews, and court work where required.

🕘 Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

💷 Pay Rate: Up to £36.00 per hour (Umbrella)
