Social Worker - Adults Multi-Disciplinary Team

Social Worker – Child Protection Team specializing in Child Protection Services – Full Time in Crewe UK – Earn £40.10 hourly. Embark on a rewarding 3-month locum journey. Based at Macclesfield Town Hall, your role involves handling cases from initial referral through various stages of assessment, Child in Need, Child Protection, and pre-proceedings where required. You will operate Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, with the flexibility of a minimum of three days a week in the office, ensuring prompt responsiveness to any urgent safeguarding issues.

• Respond promptly and compassionately to new referrals, carrying out assessments and determining the appropriate course of action.
• Work with children and families within Child in Need and Child Protection frameworks, ensuring the child’s safety and well-being are prioritised.
• Engage in pre-proceedings work and collaborate with the Court Team when care proceedings are initiated.
• Build strong relationships with multi-agency partners, families, and colleagues to deliver high-quality services.
• Meet the requirement of being office-based at least three times a week to respond swiftly to urgent needs, showcasing your dedication to high standards of care.
