What You’ll Do

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our Integrated Marketing team. With responsibility supporting the development and execution of the social media strategy for one of the most globally recognised names in the world, you will be proactive, an ideas person and thrive on being part of a dynamic team and delivering excellent results. You must be an exceptional collaborator, taking the expertise across all teams and applying to best-in-class and authentic social media outputs.

A key role within our Integrated Marketing team, reporting into our Senior Director, Digital Marketing and working closely with our Senior Manager, Social Media, in delivering social media channel management from ideation to execution phase. This will include responsibilities such as calendar management, content capture, copywriting, asset collation/creation and publishing. Additionally you will manage the archive of content assets requisite to this role.

The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset and know the latest social formats and approaches that will maximise growth and engagement across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. You are one step ahead of the trends and know how to communicate these clearly into actionable content items. Experience working with Chinese social media channels, Douyin & Weibo, is a bonus.

Sport and fashion are passions of yours, you live and breathe them – particularly an interest in football. You think beyond our owned channels and can clearly outline opportunities to collaborate with the most influential social publishers across sports, fashion and entertainment sectors to accelerate growth.

Experience working with top talent is preferable. You understand how to clearly communicate social media strategies to talent so that they can maximise performance on their channels.

You have demonstrable social media case studies clearly outlying where your posting strategies have resulted in engagement and reach that far outperform core follower numbers. Global markets are absolutely crucial for the business, you will think beyond familiar markets and tailor approaches to reach compelling new audiences across the world.

Operating as part of wider Integrated Marketing team and in alignment with our Brand Management, Business Development, Production and Content arms of the business you will be integral in setting and benchmarking against KPIs.

Ongoing, we need to balance the commercial requirements of our channels with authentic and interesting content across social media platforms to reach our existing and build new audiences. You will be adept at simultaneously executing planned social strategies whilst responding to real time news and events. You understand that the nature of social media means opportunities can arise at any time, you are nimble and always ready to react.

Fundamental to everything you do will be the strategic use of data and analysis to bring insight to and grow new audiences evolve content strategies optimally.

What you will be working on
  • Management and publishing of high profile social media accounts and communities, social ad campaigns, cross brand partner promotion, and online communication strategy.
  • Support Senior Manager, Social Media to create innovative social media marketing campaigns including premium video, photo content, mobile specific content, new partnerships, mobile and social apps.
  • Management of agency, external partner and internal resource on aspects relating to social media management.
  • Basic editing skills required on an ad-hoc basis for social media content.
  • Identify and unlock innovative digital partnerships (platforms, digital companies, influencers) and wider digital marketing opportunities.
  • Expand a community and influencer programme to target core target demographics across various social channels.
  • Work closely with in house communications, partnerships, commercial and creative teams to engage with fans, customers and enhance brand loyalty to drive both engagement and revenue.
  • Online reputation management and sentiment analysis.
  • Monitor user generated content and identify threats and opportunities.
  • Monitor trends in social media tools and applications.
  • Weekly reporting and statistics of global accounts, including social analytics overview and recommendations.
  • Keep up to date with growing trends and opportunities in the tech sector.
  • Manage content assets archive
Must Haves
  • 3-5 years of social media experience working in-house and or agency side in the sports, entertainment, and brand industries on high-following social media accounts.
  • Adept at copy writing, content ideation, data analytics and insights.
  • Experience and personal interest in sports, fashion, entertainment sectors.
  • Self-motivated and experienced in simultaneously managing social platforms and real time decision making/execution.
  • Understands the global social media landscape and abreast of changing trends, latest technologies and platform developments.
  • An ability to analyse campaigns and translate data into recommendations and plans for social media and content marketing would be ideal.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment either in-agency or in-house.
  • Ability to rapidly identify and action any issues or risks to reputation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Multitask and meet tight deadlines.
