Role: Slots Developer

Location: Remote

Our client, a leading and innovative force in the iGaming industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Slot Mathematician to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in creating the engaging and entertaining math models that drive world-class slot games. In this role, you will be the mathematical engine behind our client's most exciting projects, working to create the best gaming experience for a global player base. You will collaborate with a talented team of developers and designers to push the boundaries of slot game functionality and innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and validate sophisticated mathematical models for new and engaging slot games.
  • Provide detailed analysis and explanations of your models to game designers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with simulation developers to test, simulate, and sign off on models to ensure they perform as intended.
  • Troubleshoot and provide technical guidance on the implementation of mathematical models with the engineering team.
  • Work closely with the Game Producer to explore innovative game features and optimize the player experience.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, rapid-development environment.
  • Meticulously test mathematical outcomes using Excel and programming to assure the highest quality and compliance standards.
Who You Are (The Must-Haves)
  • A minimum of 2 years of demonstrable experience working as a Slot Mathematician or Slot Maths Developer.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on development experience in C#.
  • A relevant university degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related discipline.
  • A profound and demonstrable understanding of probability theory and its application to gaming.
  • A proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-resolution, and technical decision-making abilities.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with experience working as a core member of an internationally based team.
  • A genuine passion for technology and a desire to remain at the forefront of the latest industry skills and trends.
Desirable Skills (Nice-to-Haves)
  • Experience with CUDA or OpenCL.
  • Database development experience.
  • Familiarity with the pixi.js framework.
