Job description
Role overview

We are looking for a Skilled Maintenance Operative to assist in the day to day presentation and maintenance of our luxury residential development! You'll provide first line response to all building support requests and work orders raised. As our go-to person, you'll keep the development running like clockwork, you'll give technical advice and support, whilst also overseeing and carrying out fabric and minor repairs. This role is a permanent contract, working 5 out of 7 days.

  • Competitive salary of £30,000 - £37,500

What will you do?
  • Ensure works completed are to a high standard & completed within realistic time frame / stipulated time
  • Ensure stock, tools & materials are kept to an acceptable level & usable standard
  • Communicate effectively & continuously as reasonably practicable with the facilities manager & other departments as required
  • Inform company of any additional works needed at location
  • Work well independently, yet be supportive of team members and goals
  • Make sure any works completed are compliant in line with HSE and water bye-laws
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations
  • Identify & communicate potential areas for future works
  • Complete all paperwork & procedures in set timelines
  • Attend all safety briefings/tool box talks.
What are we looking for?
  • City and Guilds or equivalent qualification (Essential)
  • Experience working in a customer facing role ideally in domestic properties
  • Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance.
  • Knowledgeable of Health & Safety issues & requirements including COSHH.
  • Good understanding of decorating and fabric repair
  • Knowledge of basic water system and L8
  • Previous use of web based CAFM systems
