Join Guidant as we collaborate with the world's largest aircraft manufacturer, Airbus. We are seeking skilled Aircraft Fitters to join Airbus' team at the Broughton site, within the Wing Build Production section. If you have experience in a similar manufacturing or engineering role, you are invited to apply.

At Airbus Broughton, you'll be involved in assembling wings for Airbus's commercial aircraft, including the A320, A330, and A350XWB families.

What to expect as a Skilled Aircraft Fitter

You will work on technically intricate aircraft wings, essential for aerodynamic performance and eco-efficiency. Your responsibilities include:

• Assembly, fittings, and component installations
• Repairs on metallic and composite materials
• Occasional work in confined spaces or at heights

Flexible shift options:

• Double Days: Week 1 - 06:00 to 13:10, Week 2 - 13:30 to 20:40 (Monday to Friday)
• Nights: 20:45 to 06:00 (Monday to Thursday)

Candidate requirements:

• Full Aerospace or Engineering Apprenticeship
• Experience in roles like Sheet Metal Worker, Metal Fabricator, Welder, or Mechanical Fitter
• Additional qualifications: Indenture, City & Guilds Level 2, BTEC ONC, Modern Apprenticeship Certificate, NVQ Level 2 or 3, Key Skills Level 2
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Openness to continuous improvement and innovation
• Adherence to high Health and Safety standards
