Location: Stevenage, Camden & Surrounding Areas

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience), car allowance and fuel card on top

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee and deliver high-quality disrepair, damp, and mould remediation works within the social housing sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking team where your expertise will help improve residents\' living conditions across Stevenage, Camden, and nearby areas.

You’ll play a key role in project delivery, site compliance, and client satisfaction, all while ensuring health & safety and quality standards are upheld at every stage.

Main Objectives of the Site Manager role
  • Manage day-to-day site operations for disrepair, damp, and mould projects
  • Conduct thorough pre- and post-work inspections to ensure scopes are accurate and repairs meet quality standards
  • Coordinate subcontractors and operatives to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Build strong relationships with residents, housing officers, and client teams to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Ensure all works are compliant with CDM regulations, H&S policies, and company procedures
  • Maintain accurate site documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, progress reports, and site photos
  • Identify, report, and resolve any issues, delays, or deviations in scope
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably within social housing and disrepair projects
  • In-depth understanding of construction methods and common defects, especially those related to damp, mould, and structural disrepair
  • Confident using tablets and Microsoft Office (especially Word & Excel) for reporting and documentation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
Desirable Skills & Certifications
  • Asbestos Awareness certification
  • Experience with NHF Schedule of Rates
  • Ability to manage multiple sites or a team of mobile operatives
Essential Certifications
  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme [SMSTS] or Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme [SSSTS]
  • First Aid at Work
  • CSCS card
  • Fire Marshal/ Safety Certificate
