Overview

SCP 24 - 27 £35,412 to £39,152; Permanent contract for 37 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• The Council is seeking to appoint an ambitious hands-on Manager to oversee the maintenance of the Council's Parks and Open Spaces facilities.
• Manage a team of 5 outdoor staff delivering services across an expanding Grove.
• Responsible for maintenance of the Council's parks; allotments; sports pitches; play areas; skate park; cemetery and public open spaces.

Health, Safety and Regulations

• The successful candidate will be the Council's Health and Safety Advisor and must have an awareness of health and safety and legislative regulations.

Appointment

The successful candidate will be expected to be appointed to the role Outside Services Manager in the first two weeks of January 2026.
