Site Manager (No.1) - Housing Development

Location : Greenwich

Salary : Competitive + package

The Role

We are seeking an experienced No.1 Site Manager to take full responsibility for the delivery of a residential housing site. You will be the senior person on site, overseeing all Cassandra:construction activities from start through to completion, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall management and control of the housing site as No.1
• Managing subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers
• Ensuring works are completed to programme and specification
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety in line with company and legal requirements
• Coordinating inspections and ensuring compliance with NHBC / Building Regulations
• Liaising with clients, contracts managers, and senior management
• Managing quality control, snagging, and handovers
• Keeping accurate site records and reporting progress regularly

Requirements

• Proven experience as a No.1 Site Manager on residential housing projects
• Strong knowledge of traditional build and / or timber frame housing
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), and First Aid certificates essential
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple trades and deadlines effectively
