Location: Guernsey

Hours: 35 per week

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £24,766 per annum based on 35 hours per week

A day in the life of a Shop Manager at the British Red Cross, Guernsey is anything but ordinary.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading and motivating a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.
• Creating a friendly, inclusive, and inspiring environment for customers.
• Managing shop operations—from visual merchandising to stock management.
• Driving performance to meet financial targets and maximise fundraising.
• Being a proud representative of the British Red Cross, connecting customers to our humanitarian mission.
  

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• Retail experience at supervisory level, with strong customer service and cash handling skills.
• Leadership skills to inspire and develop your team.
• A commercial mindset and the initiative to meet and exceed targets.
• IT proficiency, including confidence using a PC and retail systems.
• A genuine connection to the British Red Cross mission and the ability to promote our shop as the charity retailer of choice in Guernsey.
