Job summary

A leading water management company is seeking a SHEQ Advisor to support the SHEQ team across various projects in East London and Kent. Reporting to the Head of SHEQ, you will be responsible for managing SHEQ risks, conducting audits, and collaborating with project teams to improve performance. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage corrective actions effectively. Travel across London may be necessary, and a proactive approach to sustainable solutions is encouraged.

MWH Treatment arelooking to strengthen our SHEQ team with a SHEQ Advisor to work across our projects in East London & South East London / Kent Border on the Thames Water Framework.At MWH Treatment we believe that people matter. You will report directly to the Head of SHEQ and your role will cover advising the SHEQ team.

Key responsibilities will include :
  • Understanding our approach to managing SHEQ risk and delivering best in class performance.
  • Maintaining a dynamic and driven approach to supporting SHEQ across the company.
  • Monitoring and reviewing the closure / completion of corrective actions to ensure that they deliver clear improvements and have been suitably and effectively implemented.
  • Organising audits and supporting the delivery and execution of SHEQ assurance audits.
  • Conducting accident / incident investigations and / or supporting investigations conducted by the Head of SHEQ.
  • Integrating within the wider project teams to understand day to day challenges.
  • Working with our clients to deliver collaborative approaches to SHEQ.
  • Exposure to the project management lifecycle of project delivery.
  • Highlighting opportunity for sustainable solutions.
  • Trending and analysis of key performance data.
  • Maintenance of our externally certified management systems.

Note - whilst site coverage is as specified above, there may be times where you are required to travel across other parts of London in the Thames Water Patch. Office Locations include Walthamstow, Rickmansworth & Hampton.
