Job summary

A main contractor in the construction sector is seeking a health and safety professional for reactive works across Southern England. The role requires a deep understanding of UK health and safety legislation, especially the Construction (Design and Management) regulations. Candidates should have practical experience from site work or internships and ideally hold a NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction certification. This position offers an opportunity to manage safety compliance across several projects in Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, London, and Kent.

Job description

This role will be working for a well-established, main contractor on their CP7 reactive works (Minor works, Buildings & Civils)

This role will be covering projects working across the South – Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, London and Kent

A strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation, especially the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 5 (CDM).

Practical experience through site work, internships, or apprenticeships.

Ability to conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits.

You will ideally have NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction (UK).
