SharePoint Developer
Daily Rate: £415 per day via Umbrella Company
Contract Length: 6 months initially with potential for extension
Working Pattern: Full Time, Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office

What You'll Be Doing
- Collaborate with the development team to implement Agile methodologies while supporting existing SharePoint/Office 365 applications.
- Partner with Development and Architecture teams to establish best practices in SharePoint/Office 365.
- Lead and contribute to technical and design workshops, enhancing team collaboration.
- Conduct code reviews, fostering skill improvement across the team.
- Participate in planning and estimating upcoming work volumes for smooth project execution.
- Roll out new tools and applications to improve development processes.
- Enhance performance, scalability, and security during design and implementation phases.
- Follow Change Management Control procedures to manage updates in Production systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Office 365 tools, including SharePoint Online, PowerApps, Power Automate, and SPFx/ReactJS.
- Analyse business requirements and provide constructive feedback.
- Create documentation detailing deliverables from both technical and business perspectives.
- Write scripts for T‑SQL and PL/SQL to analyse and export data based on business needs.
- Troubleshoot system failures and implement effective solutions.
- Manage permissions, access control, and governance policies to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Essential:
- University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar fields.
- Strong understanding of SharePoint environments and Office 365 with DevOps.
- Hands‑on development experience with Office 365 tools, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML5.
- Solid knowledge of REST API and Graph API.
- Desirable:
- Exposure to ASP.NET and C#, and familiarity with Agile delivery.
- Experience with CI and Automation tools.
