A reputable education provider in the UK is seeking a qualified Sessional / Associate Teacher to support the final stages of the Level 5 Learning & Skills Teacher Apprenticeship program. Sessional / Associate Teacher – Level 5 Learning & Skills Teacher Apprenticeship, Part Time

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Teacher / Assessor to support the final‑stage sign‑off and completion of a Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher Apprenticeship.

All taught delivery for the current cohort has been completed. This role focuses on end‑point readiness, quality assurance, and supporting apprentices to successfully complete their programme.

About the Role
  • Supporting apprentices through the final stages of the Level 5 Teaching Apprenticeship
  • Reviewing portfolios, evidence, and assessment requirements
  • Providing professional guidance, feedback, and sign‑off
  • Ensuring apprentices are fully prepared for end‑point assessment
  • Working collaboratively with quality and apprenticeship teams
What We’re Looking For
  • A qualified teacher with experience in post‑16, FE, or vocational education
  • Experience with teacher training, apprenticeships, or work‑based learning
  • Knowledge of Level 5 Learning & Skills Teacher Apprenticeships (or similar)
  • Confidence in assessment, quality assurance, and apprentice support
  • Ability to work independently with a flexible approach
Essential / Desirable Qualifications
  • Teaching qualification at Level 5 or above (e.g. DET, CertEd, PGCE)
  • Experience delivering or assessing teacher training or higher apprenticeships
  • Understanding of apprenticeship standards and end‑point assessment (desirable)
Working Pattern & Location
  • Highly flexible – day or evening work available
  • Will work around the successful candidate’s existing commitments
  • Based in SR8 or close to Durham City Centre
  • Sessional / associate basis
