Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Service and repair fuel pumps and industrial car wash systems.
  • Conduct planned preventive maintenance checks.
  • Troubleshoot and repair customer wash system equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to H&S procedures.

Job description
Overview

Title: Service Technician

Reporting to: Field Supervisor

Location: Ireland Field Based (NI and ROI Based in Strabane area)

Principal Objectives:

  • Service and repairs to range of fuel pumps.
  • Service and repairs of Industrial car wash systems.
  • Service and repairs to range of EV charging equipment.
  • Service and repair of POS systems.
  • Carry out Measurement Verification of fuel dispensers ensuring legislation is adhered to at all times.
  • Carry out project work in line with service project role and ensure delivered successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake planned preventive maintenance checks on sites.
  • Undertake annual Measure Checks.
  • Servicing, troubleshooting and repair of customer wash system equipment
  • Carry out a variety of project work within the service department.
  • Adhere to company and regulatory H&S procedures and policies at all times
  • Attend training courses as workload dictates.
  • Maintain high levels of personal professionalism in a customer facing role.
  • Maintain accurate records and return timeously.
  • Miscellaneous tasks as required by managers/supervisors.
  • Work with Area Controllers to support customers within agreed SLA.

  • Take care of their own health and safety and that of others.
  • Co-operate with their employers.
  • Not interfere with anything provided in the interest of health and safety.

Skills & Abilities Required (Essential):

  • Valid full manual driving license.
  • Basic electrical and mechanical skills.
  • Have experience in the use of a range of hand tools including screwdrivers, spanners & socket-sets.
  • Flexible approach to the working day that will involve travelling, overtime and working away from home depending on business needs.
  • Experience of working as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and good communication skills.

Skills & Abilities Required

  • Electrical/Mechanical/Engineering qualifications
  • Knowledge of PC Hardware, and Networking
  • Petrol Forecourt and/or Wash systems or related industry experience desirable but not essential

Additional

  • Once in position candidate to receive training in line with Health & Safety Law.
  • Product training will be implemented online and in person in various locations.
  • Subject to 12 month Probation period with review every 6 months.
