Overview

Bennett and Game are currently partnering with a leading CNC & Precision Tooling Manufacturer who are actively recruiting for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team. The role involves UK-wide travel with occasional visits to their Rotherham site.

Our client provides solutions to blue-chip manufacturers as well as small machine shops across the UK and Europe. With over 100 years of heritage, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a genuine leader in their field.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preparation, modification, maintenance, repair and installation of CNC and specialist precision engineering equipment and tooling.
• Work will take place both at customer sites and in the company workshop as required.
• All tasks must be completed safely and to a high standard.
• Provide clear diagnoses and reports of faults; determine required work or parts quickly and effectively to meet customer needs.

Job Requirements

• Full UK driving licence - Essential
• Willingness to travel UK-wide - Essential
• Proven experience in a service/maintenance engineering role within a precision, CNC, or tooling environment - Essential
• Strong diagnosis and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve
• Engineering qualification / NVQ
• COSHH & Health & Safety trained - Desirable

Salary & Benefits

• Negotiable salary DOE: £40,000 - £45,000 base (additional OTE available)
• Company van & fuel card provided (can be used for personal mileage)
• 8:30 - 16:30 working hours
• Discretionary profit-related bonus (paid twice a year)
• Company life assurance (x4 salary)
• Reimbursement of work expenses (including hotels, food etc. for overnight stays)
