Job Title: Service and Repair Engineer
Location: Bedford
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Overtime available). This is a leading engineering company in Bedford seeking a dedicated Service and Repair Engineer to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Conduct service visits and repairs for mechanical and hydraulic systems, both within the UK and internationally.
• Work from engineering drawings to execute repairs and maintenance to the highest standards.
• Manage and prioritize your own workload while maintaining clear communication with customers.
• Produce detailed service reports using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Occasionally assist with customer installations and troubleshooting remotely.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Service and Repair Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or Engineering Service Technician in a mechanical or hydraulic engineering field.
• Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings.
• Previous experience managing service and maintenance schedules independently, both on-site and remotely.
